Franz Ferdinand are set to released their ‘Covers EP’ on CD for this month.
The ‘Covers EP’ released on 2nd May, while its originally released as a limited edition vinyl for Record Store Day (April 16).
Franz Ferdinand said, “This is an EP of covers of our songs by people whose music we love”.
The EP includes LCD Soundsystem’s cover of the band’s hit ‘Live Alone’, as well as Peaches rendition of ‘Turn It On’.
The band’s record label Domino said that The EP will also be available on black vinyl 12”, CD and digital download.

He added: ”Immediately I started doing bluesy riffs and a record that was suitable for Rod. Rather than bugger about for a week, we decided to get straight to it and we cut eleven songs and backing tracks ready for Rod.
We just need to tailor the songs to his voice and then the record is done.”
